and was granted charitable status in November 1989.

2007 - 2008 

Trust Meetings: These will start again in September and be held in the Lesser Town Hall, Lockerbie at 7.30 pm .

Entry to meetings: All welcome - Adults £2.00 (Members, Senior Citizens and School Children £1.00)

Fund Raisers:

Sun. 24 Feb. 2008 'Nut Race'; This event raised £500 - thanks to all who helped.
Sat. 17 May 2008 'Coffee Morning'; This event raised £600 - thanks to all who helped.

Wildlife Weekend

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the

Eskrigg Nature Reserve

Come along to the reserve and join in the celebrations

and learn about our local wildlife.

Saturday 16th August

09:30 - 12:00 'Moths' with Anna White

14:00 - 16:00 'Aquatic Life' with Jim McCleary

Try the 'Tree Trail' - how many can you identify?

Sunday 17th August

10:00 - 12:00 'Mammals' with Stuart Spray

14:00 - 16:30 'Teddy Bear's Picnic' - bring your own picnic

(& one for Teddy!) and join in the 'Teddy Bear Trail'.

Visit our pavilion for information about our local wildlife

Reserve Maintenance Days:

During these days volunteers are required to assist with routine maintenance work at Eskrigg Nature Reserve.  

Volunteers can come along for just an hour or two or can help for the whole day.

Work starts at 10.00 am and finishes at 4.00 pm .  

Equipment and materials will be provided.  

Bring own food and refreshment.

Dress appropriately on the day.
